Design & Engineering

• Custom CAD drawings, sling-angle analysis, WLL calculations and deflection checks for every beam.
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA) available for asymmetric or critical load cases.
• Designs can be produced to client standards or regulatory codes on request (e.g., ASME B30 series, EN standards or local statutory requirements).
• Consideration of centre of gravity, load distribution, taglines and lifting accessories in the design phase.

Materials & Fabrication

• Fabricated from high-strength structural steels (S355/S355JR etc.) or stainless grades where corrosion or hygiene demands require.
• CNC profiling for accurate padeyes, bolt patterns and nozzle cutouts.
• Certified welding to AWS/ASME/EN standards; WPS/PQR documentation available on request.
• Stress relief and dimensional control for large single-piece beams to maintain alignment and fitment.

Lifting Hardware & Options

• Integrated padeyes, certified shackles, swivel hoist rings and lifting eyes — all rated and marked.
• Adjustable sling points, removable spreader bars or chain attachments.
• Load monitoring options: load pins or dynamometer integration for live load readout.
• Transport brackets, lifting guides and protective end caps for coated loads.

Testing, Certification & Documentation

• Proof load testing (typical 1.25× to 1.5× WLL) with certified test reports.
• NDT (MPI/UT) on critical welds and full weld records supplied.
• Documentation pack: Material Test Certificates (MTC), WPS/PQR, NDT reports, proof load certificates, tag plate and operation/inspection manual.
• Serial tagging and traceability for asset management and recertification.

Surface Finish & Protection

• Shotblasting/surface prep followed by primer and industrial paint, epoxy coating or hot-dip galvanizing for long-term corrosion protection.
• Optional protective pads or rubber faces to prevent damage to coated or fragile surfaces.

Safety, Inspection & Maintenance:

• Supplied with lift plan recommendations and recommended sling configuration.
• Pre-lift visual inspection checklist and periodic certified inspection intervals advised (per local regulations).
• Operator training and on-site commissioning available from PTI.

Lead Time & Customisation:

• Rapid feasibility sketches and capacity review on enquiry.
• Lead time varies by complexity — modular and adjustable units are faster to deliver; large one-piece beams require extended fabrication and testing windows.
• Capacities from small workshop beams to heavy-duty beams rated for several hundred tonnes — provide weight, span and COG for a precise quote.
